Hurst Festival 2017 will take place from Saturday 16th September until Sunday 1st October. We have over 80 events for you to enjoy over two weeks with something for everyone – so why not try something new this year?
What is Hurst Festival?
Hurst Festival extends over a fortnight at the end of September every year, bringing together the amazing local talent within our village and leading international performers who have a connection with Hurstpierpoint, the village we live in and love.
The overarching aims of the Festival are to entertain and offer an opportunity to widen perspectives by offering a diversity of cultural events. We showcase the work of musicians, singers, writers, thinkers, actors, brewers, farmers, artists and a great deal more.
The Festival opens on Saturday 16th September, while the Village Community Day takes place on Sunday the 17th from 12.30pm, with a huge array of free events and activities around the village, centred around the High Street (which will be closed to traffic), the Village Green and the Recreation Ground.
This year our Community Day has been renamed Super Sunday following on from last year’s nod to the Rio Olympics.
